Description

Cape Flattery is the northwesternmost point of the contiguous United States, located on the Makah Reservation at the tip of Washington's Olympic Peninsula where the Pacific Ocean meets the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It's known for dramatic views, sea caves, and wildlife, accessible via a short, boardwalked trail that requires a Makah Recreation Pass for parking. The area offers stunning scenery, including Tatoosh Island and the Cape Flattery Lighthouse, and is a popular spot for bird and marine mammal watching.
